Baby monitor manufacturers Biosentronics have considerably lengthened the usable life of their Snuza Mobile Baby Movement Monitors by enabling the user to replace a defective or depleted battery.
Previously the Snuza monitors were sealed and battery faults meant that the unit had to be returned to the manufacturer for replacement. The standard battery life of the 14250 batteries used in Snuza monitors is approximately 12 months with normal usage. Replacing the battery means that usage can continue uninterrupted, or the monitor can be put aside for future use by another baby or even loaned out to family or friends.
14250 batteries are lithium-based cells designed specifically for long-term (3 to 15 years) applications, and the benefits of using these include:-
